The application fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to future examinations. Standard bank transaction charges are the responsibility of the candidate.
| Category | Application Fee (Inclusive of GST) |

Applicants can clear the fee online using an assortment of digital methods, including Debit Cards (RuPay, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, Mobile Wallets, or UPI.
Comprehensive Selection Process
The bank employs varying evaluation methods based on the scale of the position. For roles up to Scale III, candidates generally face an Online Examination, a Group Discussion (contingent on applicant volume), and a Personal Interview. For upper management scales (IV, V, and VI), the bank will bypass the written test and rely on Group Discussions, other internal assessments, and Personal Interviews.
Online Examination Structure – Specialist Officers (Post Codes S01–S108, up to Scale III)
| Test | No. of Questions | Maximum Marks | Duration |
| Professional Knowledge relevant to the post | 50 (MCQ) | 100 | 60 minutes |
Online Examination Structure – General Banking Officers (Post Codes G01–G19, up to Scale III)
| Test | No. of Questions | Maximum Marks | Duration |
| Quantitative Aptitude | 25 | 25 | 120 minutes |
| Reasoning | 25 | 25 | |
| English Language | 25 | 25 | |
| Professional Knowledge relevant to the post/domain | 50 | 100 | |
| Total | 125 | 175 |
While the examination is predominantly bilingual (English and Hindi), the English Language section remains exclusively in English. The English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning segments act as qualifiers; these marks will not influence the final merit compilation.
A 25% negative marking penalty applies for every incorrect answer, while blank responses carry zero penalties. Minimum qualifying scores demand 40% for General and EWS candidates, and 35% for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories (subject to bank review).
The Personal Interview Phase
Candidates will face a 100-mark Personal Interview aimed at evaluating academic foundation, job-specific expertise, leadership traits, communication capabilities, and overall suitability. To pass this phase, General and EWS candidates must score a minimum of 50 marks, while reserved category candidates (SC, ST, OBC, PwBD) require 45 marks. Shortlisting for the interview phase operates on a 1:3 ratio based on the available vacancies.
Final selections will be generated by combining the applicable scores (Online Exam plus Interview, or just Interview/GD marks). In the event of a tie, priority will be granted to the older applicant based on birth dates.
