Selection Process
The evaluation framework consists of three stages. The final merit list will be formulated by combining the scores of the Online Written Test and the Interview, using a 70:30 weightage ratio respectively.
- Online Written Test: Tentatively slated for August 2026 across various national centres. Admit cards will be distributed via email, SMS, and the official website.
- Shortlisting: Progression relies on securing minimum qualifying marks in the General Aptitude sections and meeting the Professional Knowledge cut-off marks.
- Interview: Assessed out of 100 marks, interviews will be conducted for an adequate number of shortlisted candidates categorized by circle.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): This test is mandatory for provisionally selected candidates before formal onboarding. Those who can provide 10th or 12th-grade mark sheets demonstrating the relevant local language as a studied subject are exempted from the LLPT.
Following these stages, SBI will maintain a circle-wise and category-wise waitlist. This list will remain valid for one year, or until a fresh advertisement is published (whichever comes first), to address any instances of termination or selected candidates failing to join.
